Aspects & Transits: The “Why” and “When” of Astrology
Discover how the planets communicate with one another, how the birth chart unfolds over time, and how astrology reveals cycles of change, growth, and opportunity.
You’ve met the “who” through the planets, discovered “how” they express themselves through the signs, and explored “where” their energy plays out through the houses. Now it’s time to bring the chart to life.
In this final class, we’ll explore the relationships between planets and introduce the element of time and movement into astrology. You’ll begin to see the natal chart not as a collection of separate placements, but as an interconnected and evolving story.
In this class, you’ll learn:

The major aspects—including conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions—and what each relationship represents

How aspects reveal areas of harmony, tension, opportunity, challenge, and growth

How planetary relationships can create repeating themes and lifelong patterns within the natal chart

The basics of transits and how the current movement of the planets interacts with your natal placements

How to recognize when a transit is activating an important planet, house, or area of your chart

A beginner-friendly introduction to progressions and how they can reflect inner development and personal evolution

How planetary cycles can help identify significant periods of transition, expansion, reflection, and change

How to begin bringing planets, signs, houses, aspects, and timing together into a more complete interpretation
By the end of class, you’ll have a foundational understanding of the movement within astrology—why certain energies interact the way they do and when particular themes may become more active in your life.
With the planets, signs, houses, and aspects working together, the chart becomes more than a snapshot of the sky. It becomes a living map of patterns, cycles, possibilities, and personal evolution.
This experience will be held in person at DFW Crystals located at 901 W Parker Rd. Ste 121 Plano, TX 75023.
